Each morning, we meet for a buffet breakfast between 08:00 – 09:30. Our morning session begins at 09:30 and runs to 12:30, with a short break in between. These sessions are detailed in the itinerary below. The afternoons are yours to write, edit, walk the beach, swim, hike from one village to another, or take a nap—whatever you like. We meet for dinner in the early evening, around 8:00 p.m., and then spend the rest of the evening chatting about writing. We’ll have readings, critiques, and motivational stories of successes and how to manage your own career.

The discipline of creating the novel, how much emotion should be on the page, and how to place the tension in the right spots to keep readers turning the pages. On this day, we will discuss setting up the book to be psychologically pleasing to the reader, which will leave them with the emotional experience readers read for! Reading is an emotional journey, so make them feel it, and they'll love you for it and tell all their friends about you (your book).
Writing a good fight scene entertains while advancing the plot and revealing the character. How characters fight can reveal as much about them as how they make love. A chance to delve into the dark side. To broaden and deepen? Fight and sex scenes are a huge opportunity for any writer to confirm a suspicion or to startle with a revelation. A "character in peril" keeps the pages turning.
Today we will discuss promotion outside social media. Once you’ve written your breakout novel and you’re looking for sales, we’ll supply you with tricks and tips that’ll help with promotion. Mr. Humpheys and Jonas Saul will demonstrate through proven results how to get your work in front of readers.
The hotel will provide transportation to the port to get you on the ferry, which will take everyone back to Athens (or to other islands if you want to keep touring Greece!). Once on the boat, you can continue to other European cities, keep touring, or stay in Athens longer.
If you’re leaving for home immediately, please consider that the boat ride back to Athens is approximately eight hours. Be sure to give yourself an extra day before flying out to ensure you arrive on time for your flight.
